Principal Broker John Brockwell is leading a team of sales associates serving the Southside of the greater Richmond-Petersburg area since 2006. Norris Hardy is the company's Relocation Director.
In addition to outstanding services to the community as real estate specialists, the company prides itself in what it has to offer agents in the areas of training and support. John was born and raised in Petersburg and was in real estate for 20 years before becoming a Weichert® franchise owner. A fourth generation Realtor®, he joined the family business of G.E. Matthews Realtors in 1986. Great uncle G.E. Matthews was the original founder (1923) of the real estate sales and property management firm, followed by grandfather Garland Brockwell and father Garland Brockwell, from whom the youngest Brockwell purchased the company. Involved with the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors, he served a term as treasurer and at the time of franchising, was the association's president-elect. He is also active in the community and is a past president of the Petersburg Rotary Club and an active member.
