Founded in 1928, Virginia Credit Union (originally the State Employees’ Credit Union) has created financial products and services to help guide members in their financial lives and give them new knowledge and understanding of their finances. In everything we do, our work allows members to live with confidence. When you join Virginia Credit Union, you become a member and owner of the financial cooperative. We’re a credit union, not a bank. We don’t have shareholders, and we aren’t here to make a profit. As a not-for-profit organization, we serve our members, the owners of our financial cooperative.
