The Lynn’s Hallmark Store held an Open House and Ribbon Cutting on November 7, 2009 to celebrate a new line of Yankee Candles offered at the store. On hand for the Ribbon Cutting and pictured from left to right are: Mrs. Kent, Rick Pangratz, Harlan Kent – CEO of Yankee Candles, Ferne Bork – Yankee Candle Representative, Colonial Heights Mayor C. Scott Davis, Ralph Ashworth – owner, Bonnie Kirby, Daphne Ashworth - owner, and Renatta Waddicar. Lynn’s Hallmark is located within the Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights.

Kim & Kompany Salon of Colonial Heights held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on October 28 at their new location at 2110 Boulevard, Colonial Heights. Southside Primary Care conducted a Ribbon Cutting on September 15, 2009 at their new location in Colonial Heights. Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Frelier were welcomed to the business community by Councilman Joe Green and several members of the Chamber of Commerce. The event was also attended by scores of Dr. Goldberg’s appreciative patients who expressed their admiration for his dedicated service over the years. Southside Primary Care is located at 430 Clairmont Court Suite 213 in Colonial Heights.

Verizon Wireless, located at 52 Southgate Square in Colonial Heights, held a Ribbon Cutting on August 28. Verizon Wireless Retail Store Manager Cassandra Wilburn and Colonial Heights Vice Mayor Betsy Luck along with other guests and Verizon employees participated in the ceremony. Verizon Wireless also operates a store at 798 Southpark Boulevard in Colonial Heights. |
